How we process your data when you visit this website or send us an enquiry.
1. Controller and contact
The controller responsible for personal data on this website is Leibinger GmbH, Brühlstraße 10, 79331 Teningen, Germany, represented by Benedikt Leibinger.
Contact for data protection matters: Benedikt Leibinger, Managing Director.
For privacy enquiries, contact sales@leibinger.eu or call +49 (0) 7641 46885-0.
This notice describes the preview at preview.leibinger-smb.de. It also applies to personal contact information used in business communications.
2. Website access and hosting
This preview is hosted by DomainFactory GmbH, c/o WeWork, Neuturmstraße 5, 80331 Munich, Germany. Your browser transmits connection data needed to deliver the website, including your IP address, access time, requested address, browser information and, where applicable, the referring page. The hosting provider processes this information to serve the website, diagnose errors and protect against attacks.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the reliable and secure operation of the website. Logs are retained for as long as necessary for operation and security; a specific security incident may require longer retention for investigation. DomainFactory privacy information.
3. Enquiries and HubSpot
When you contact us, we process the details you provide to respond and prepare your filling project. These may include your name, business email address, country, company, phone number, machine interests and message. Mandatory fields are marked in the form. Without the necessary contact and project information, we may be unable to process your enquiry. You may also contact us by email or phone.
We use the HubSpot CRM system to organise enquiries. HubSpot processes the enquiry and contact data we store there as a service provider. Information about this processing and its subprocessors is available in the HubSpot Data Processing Agreement.
Opening the HubSpot form already transmits your IP address and browser information to HubSpot. On this HTTP preview, the form button opens a separate HTTPS form page hosted by HubSpot. The HubSpot Privacy Policy additionally applies to the operation of that page and any cookie choices offered there.
For enquiries made on behalf of your company, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in business communication with prospects and customers. Where you personally are the contracting party, processing is necessary for pre-contractual steps or contractual performance under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to our general or used-machine newsletters. A newsletter subscription and consent must be provided separately.
Newsletter sign-up
“LEIBINGER News” and “LEIBINGER Used Machinery” have separate, optional choices. We process the details entered in the sign-up form (name, email address, country and topic choices) to send only the newsletters selected. HubSpot records the sign-up and, where applicable, email confirmation. A project enquiry alone does not subscribe you.
The legal basis for sending the newsletters is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. A new, unconfirmed email address first receives a confirmation link. You can change your preferences or withdraw consent for the future using the link in each newsletter email. Previous lawful sends are unaffected. We may retain necessary evidence of consent and suppression records afterwards.
HubSpot also handles email delivery and measurement. Delivery, opens and link clicks may be recorded. Open rates are not always reliable because of email-client settings. Opening the external sign-up form transmits data to HubSpot as described above.
4. Optional reference map
The reference map activates only after you consent by selecting “Load world map”. Your browser then requests map images from the OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom, transmitting your IP address and technical request data. Map images are delivered through a worldwide server network. OpenStreetMap privacy information.
Activation is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Select “Close map” to deactivate it and withdraw consent for future requests. Activation is not saved for later page visits. Withdrawal does not affect transfers already made. You can also ask us directly about references.
5. Images, videos and external links
Images and the homepage video are served by the website host. The website uses system fonts. These features do not connect to an external font provider or to YouTube.
Some links lead to YouTube videos or other external websites. A connection to those providers is established when you open the relevant link. Their operators are responsible for processing on those sites.
7. Recipients and international processing
Within Leibinger, the people handling your enquiry have access to its data. Our hosting, IT and CRM service providers may also process data as needed for their tasks. Where legally required, data may be disclosed to authorities or other entitled recipients.
HubSpot may involve affiliated companies and service providers outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. Its linked Data Processing Agreement describes safeguards including EU Standard Contractual Clauses. An EU account does not therefore mean that all processing takes place exclusively within the EU. You can also request information about the applicable safeguards from us.
8. Retention
We retain enquiries and related correspondence for as long as necessary to handle them and any resulting business relationship. We then delete the data or restrict processing where statutory retention requirements or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims prevent deletion. The applicable period depends on the type and purpose of the records and the relevant statutory requirements.
After consent is withdrawn, information needed to demonstrate previous consent or honour an objection to marketing may be retained to the extent necessary for those purposes.
9. Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Right to object: You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.
Contact sales@leibinger.eu to exercise your rights. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, particularly in the country of your residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. The competent authority in Baden-Württemberg is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
We do not use your website enquiry for solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
10. Job applications
When you apply by email, we process your contact details, application documents and related correspondence to handle the recruitment process and decide whether to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis is section 26(1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act. Access is limited to the people responsible for recruitment and IT service providers needed to operate email.
Please send only documents needed for your application. Without the necessary information, we may be unable to assess your application. Send applications to bewerbung@leibinger.eu; this website does not transmit application documents to HubSpot.
We retain the data for the recruitment process. Afterwards, the data is deleted or processing restricted when no legal duties or establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require further retention. If you are hired, data needed for the employment relationship is processed for that purpose. The rights described above also apply to applicant data.
